Château de Bruniquel is a medieval fortress located in the commune of Bruniquel in the Tarn-et-Garonne department of southwestern France. It is perched on a hilltop overlooking the Aveyron River, and consists of two castles: the Château Vieux (Old Castle) and the Château Neuf (New Castle).

The Château Vieux dates back to the 12th century and was built by the Counts of Toulouse to protect their lands against the King of France. It has a massive square tower and a 13th-century chapel. The Château Neuf was built in the 15th century and has a more ornate Renaissance style.

The castle has a rich history, and was involved in many battles during the Hundred Years' War and the Wars of Religion. It was also used as a location for the filming of the movies "The Old Gun" and "La Belle Noiseuse".

Today, the Château de Bruniquel is open to the public for guided tours. Visitors can explore the castle's many rooms and towers, including the Great Hall, the kitchens, and the chapel. The castle also hosts various cultural events throughout the year, including medieval festivals and concerts.
